@revpuddudley Just because Trump had the idea doesn't mean it must be awful. It's OK if you disagree with it. What's the alternative proposal then? Where can we go from here? Disparaging me doesn't do anyone any good except for your satisfaction. A productive discussion does.

@rbreich Citizen United ruled that Corporations, as associations of individuals, have free speech rights under the First Amendment. Then why can’t we tax them based on world wide income like regular individuals?

@commandoism @rbreich As much as I agreed to this in principle, the argument doesn’t hold much water. This is just a loss on a “spreadsheet”. It can be gained back in a Wall Street heart beat. Being taxed, that money is gone forever.

@rbreich Wouldn’t it be nice if some percentage of the profit the corporations make has to go to their employees? The more they make, the more has to go back to the employees.
