If anyone else has seen that turkey that's been near the hospital the last few weeks, I saw it again this morning but this time with chicks. They were tucked into the bushes near the parking structure at Catherine & Glen. I called the city and sent the humane society a text, not sure what else to do.
This is probably not what you want the parking lot of your brand new hotel to look like the morning after a heavy rain.
That new apartment building going up on the credit union lot is certainly going to change the skyline when heading west on North U.
The new lanes on That Damn Bridge(TM) were open this morning for incoming and pedestrian traffic. Only outbound is still using the old lanes, which should give people trying to bravely/illegally turn left onto Fuller more room to block the intersection.

Step 1 - Login at https://accounts.microsoft.com
Step 2 - Click to "manage" your subscriptions
Step 3 - Click "switch plan" to go to a "classic" subscription.

Save your money, they don't need it.

Saw them setting up two new cranes at the apartment building on Washington yesterday. This morning it looks like it's construction elevator disassembly day.

There it is, finally.

(Happy solstice, everybody!)

Saw one of these monster cranes carefully navigating down State on my way in this morning. There are now three of them all set up in Washington Street.

Asked one of the guys there why, he said they're, "taking down the big one". So the skyline is gonna look a little less under construction very soon.

Saw this very chill hawk on the steps by the hospital today. He was intent on something right below that wall, barely glanced over as I walked by.
Saw my breath on my walk into work this morning for the first time this fall. Made for a nice river crossing.
