@ProPublica is it a US thing where buyers don't know what they're signing up for (yes I am aware they are foreign & language barrier etc but still)? In the UK most mortgages are capital & repayment with clear indications online and on statements as to full repayment date, money owed, etc. Is there no laws against predatory mortgage brokers in the US?
@Ciaraioch In my understanding, it's FIFA that instructed them not to wear the armbands and FIFA that would instruct referees to chuck them out of the field. It's FIFA we should direct most of our anger against. I was hoping someone in power (=England national team?) would take a stance against them.
@jmtd I don't host mastodon just yet - is 'no media caching' an option? I think that would be best, since any mastodon server I might be registered on is practically as far away as any other mastodon server (where media I am looking at might be served from); it's not like most people's own mastodon server is closest to them (and therefore would make a difference to host media locally), right?
@nextcloud Nextcloud is great, I just wish it would treat what are effectively its free beta testers a bit more thoughtfully. An email with the most recent important config changes (both from NC and Collabora) would be most helpful as things break between updates and there is no recourse other than digging through forum and github posts trying to see if anyone else a) has come across the same issue and b) has found a solution - not to mention silent config changes that are not advertised.
@hogesonline This might be a rubbish way to do it, but if you want the max and second max in two different cells, the max obviously can be obtained with MAX(), and the second max with something like INDEX(SORT(A1:A8),7,1); this assumes a list of 8 cells. Not sure if this would help in what you are looking to do though.
@jwildeboer I am not running an instance yet, but it seems to me #mastodon pulls all media from all the people you follow constantly and retains it for 5 days (as per your setting). If those you follow post a lot of images and videos, it is plausible this is normal. I think I saw some advice that media storage is recommended to be placed externally, e.g. S3, Google drive etc.
@skimlines Haven't played it in such a long time that I can't even remember 😮
