Hard to put into words what we’re all feeling.

But I tried to do that anyway, in a new blog post to Crocumentary.

I also started posting to Bluesky, as much as I tried to resist, I missed so many people, and we all need each other more than ever.

Thank you to everyone still giving their all during these dark times. Wishing you love and strength.

It looks like I'll be back at MFF this year for the first time since 2018. Not sure when I’ll be back again after this year, but thanks to my best friend I have a room and figured I’d give it a shot.

The reality is that the con is massively larger since I last went, and it was difficult to hang with anyone then. So my expectations are not particularly high when it comes to seeing anyone I really want to see.

But I will make my best effort, and if you want to see me, please let me know.

How can every person who's seen Wild Robot go on and on about how great it is, and yet it's making 10% of some POS like MINIONS and DESPICABLE ME 4?

Is it because the pro-environmental message pisses off right wingers who would flock to the other movies?

Make it make sense. This is one of the best animated films of the decade or longer, it should be swimming in money.

I saw The Wild Robot last night, and rarely has a film ever felt so close to my heart.

So much beauty and sweetness, but well balanced with some dark wit and mortality themes. It all blends so poignantly, and so many times during the movie I just felt so profoundly in love with it.

Also haven’t cried this much in a long time, but if that sounds like a warning or a negative, it isn’t. This movie couldn’t have come at a better time, and I hope it makes a billion because it should.

@Bowsette I was always bad at it, but Croc has really been a breakthrough way for me to appreciate myself, now I’m trying to extend that care to the human that I’ve always looked down on.

Sometimes learning to love yourself can be frustratingly difficult.

But sometimes it’s blissfully easy.

Because I feel bad about putting so much negative energy out, and never posting stuff that people wanted from me, here’s an awesome pic of Croc done by OMG Fursuits from about 2 years ago.

I promise I’m mostly still myself, in spite of everything. I just haven’t done a great job of showing it.

Getter older and all that. Anyway, peace and love to you all.

I know 99% of everyone here is like “yes Croc we know, we get it”.

I just hate what the last few years have done to me as a person.

I’m fighting it as much as I can, but I’m so much angrier, so much less patient, so much readier to wish horrible things on people when they are happy to wish horrible things on me.

I don’t want to be in this stupid fucking insanity any more. I’m sure you guys don’t either. Raging into the void at least keeps me from exploding in fury.

Sorry for politics.

I've lived most of my life thinking that there were some things that were just accepted truths.

The last few years have bulldozed that, obliterated it.

As tired as we are of just wanting to be left alone to live our lives without being hated and oppressed and belittled, we don’t have that luxury because a significant number of total strangers would happily murder us for not being them if Trump made it legal.

Anyone not voting might as well be voting for their own demise.
