I really like film photography, though I ignore all conventional photography wisdom. I also bake, because people can't say no to you if you have cookies.

I get paid to break things on computers a lot, and have a background in information systems, political science and accessibility.

@palin @randomwizard I really enjoy the books, they're comfort fantasy - and as world building for a AD&D campaign setting, fantastic.

The modules were fun, especially as my group had read the books and then playing the books was so fun. But, after that the best part of them were all the resources and materials that came with them.

I have had groups over the years that preferred pre-made characters/situations though, so there is a place - not specifically for me - but I've went the other way where everything is made up by the group and is homebrewed.
@Equinox They are implementing it, with Android 17 I think starting this summer - basically they're adding a 24 hour anti-scam window instead of having sideloading be a toggle (adb installations still exist).

@tylerknowsnothing it really shows that Apple has no interest in being a serious extensible platform for users. The OS and the hardware will continue to be limited by only what they want it to do.
@doofus_canadensis I prefer a web ui since I don't like apps, unless I can find a good client that has a widget so I don't have to open the app.
@doofus_canadensis it was actually really easy! I think I'll write up the couple things I had to do to get it working since the social/not social subdomain stuff was a little wonky.

Now I have to figure out a good client/web interface to self host.
Aloha, this is mostly just a test, but I've moved off of Mstdn.ca to my own self hosted setup with https://gotosocial.org/ ! Transferring with it and codeberg.org/vyr/slurp was surprisingly easy - I should probably have done this awhile ago.

Are there any film photographers on here? 🤔 I mostly shoot Minolta AF (a9 at the moment), and 120 on a Kiev 6c. I would love to connect with some folk that do!
