@projectgus An alternative that may be worth looking into are optically isolated bidirectional solid state relays. They work like your circuit, but use an integrated led and photocell to power the mosfet gates instead of an iso dcdc. https://www.ixysic.com/productbriefs/graphics/PB-PowerRelays.pdf
I believe your circuit is fine in principle. But there could be many gotchas to work out that others have discussed, such as ensuring the fets don't spend too much time in their linear region. Curious how it works out and best of luck :-)
