@philpem “conclusion: do not expose your Rigol scopes to the internet.”
Oh, if you’re doing that you probably have much bigger problems.
@i_lost_my_bagel @tommorris that’s what OP is talking about. Look closely. It is rendering every sphere in the background galaxy animation separately. You can even drag the camera around. The mobile version of their homepage doesn’t do that, it simply rotates a static image.
@foone This was all because of the pin count. It had to handle PRG and CHR address lines, and the NVRAM, and nametable mirroring, and it had to do it with 24 pins but it doesn’t really need to see the full data bus. So what do you do? Well, when /ROMSEL & /W, D7/D0 clears/loads a shift register.
@mos_8502 yep, and there is a KBD GLU chip on the board for bridging ADB to the keyboard I/O, because that is what all Apple II software expects.
@YoteDragon I have wild strawberries growing under my hostas. Can’t imagine how they got there. I hope those wild strawbs will attract fennecs.
@YoteDragon you’re paying for fleas? I have plenty I can give you!
@wotsac @mos_8502 yeah it should be able to do it on CPU in that case. For QS in OBS there’s a thread here with a lot of info: https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/how-to-use-qsv-vaapi-on-linux-mint.137329/
How to use QSV/VAAPI on Linux Mint?

Is QSV available on Linux now in obs 26.1.1? I tried and it showed this: Starting the output failed. Please check the log for details. Note: If you are using the NVENC or AMD encoders, make sure your video drivers are up to date. here is vainfo here is part of obs log This computer has...

@mos_8502 @wotsac I think so. I know ffmpeg supports it if you have libvpl/libmfx/VAAPI. OBS should be able to use the same libraries/drivers.
There’s no h.265 acceleration tho and a lot of platforms have moved on to that.
@wotsac @mos_8502 both the open source and binary blob modules for the Intel iGPU should have support for it.
@shine I have everything switch light/dark with sunrise/sunset. Just seems the most readable that way.
