Mutual aid request: anyone near LA or have a comrade there who would lend a friend a skateboard? He just got into town and is currently unhoused and without a vehicle

I kind of miss twitter I feel like I lost so many connections there

Something particularly infuriating about grant writing as an environmental educator is that all of these grantors push out competitions with frilly woke language about climate change and minoritized communities but if I submitted an application with mock lessons that are anywhere near that, I would lose the grant and probably my job. They ask for all of this liberatory education but they actually mean I should tell kids that their shower being two minutes longer is ruining the planet, not capitalism and white supremacy

Anybody near the forest grove area who could help out an old friend? He’s living outside and has court in the morning, doesn’t have enough for a hotel room in Portland where court is. I’m too far away to help right now but truly anything helps (ride, sleeping bag, tent, anything)
