Regulators killed iRobot and as such, just put Chinese robots in everyones' homes. Congrats to all involved. https://spyglass.org/mopping-the-floor-with-antitrust/
Congrats Regulators, You Killed Roomba

Actually, you just put a Chinese robot in every home...

Tapestry has quickly become my favorite way to keep up with Mastodon, Bluesky, and other feeds. Everything’s woven together into a seamless chronological timeline with deduping, muting, and rock solid position syncing across devices. It’s great!

@whack @synack the new opt-in call screening in iOS 26 is a nice middle ground, in my experience so far.

Doctors offices have used it successfully, and spammers mostly give up.

@whack ah right, I forgot that while the spec and communications are aware of whether or not the passkey is backed up or cloud synced, it isn’t a requirement.

Passkeys on your phone should be usable on a desktop, via the QR code though.

But yeah, backup/sync is the ideal for storage.

@whack it does make login quite a bit easier.

Curious what risks you are accepting though?

@bigzaphod they really blew up a plane, it’s wild
