Plus, this morning I learned I am aphantasic.
Life under Trump 2.0 is exponentially worse than 1.0. And I hate that my general stress levels are so high and my outlook is negative. It probably affects my relationships with people close to me, I need to be mindful of this and do better.

Not a revelation: this country is broken and always has been. If all politics is local, so is everything else, like the food we eat, our social interactions, the community we build, the donations of time and money we make, and so on. The best I can do is make sure my tiny sphere is healthy and thriving.
Utterly ashamed of my country and angry with its elected leaders. We are not only a joke but a complete menace and should be treated as a bunch of economic, cultural, and military rogues. If we recover from this disaster of an administration it will be decades before anyone else trusts us again.
This story that’s under the radar about Oracle slashing 30,000 jobs because banks are no longer willing to underwrite AI data centers seems like the start of the AI bubble bursting. 30,000 humans losing their technology jobs. The story that’s being told over and over of tech job losses.
On top of that, the Mideast bankrollers of US entertainment and news organizations may be a well running dry.
