My son is in the “dress like daddy” phase and I’m going to savor every minute of it.
The political people I follow have migrated to the elephant site. Now I need the sports people, science people, entertainment people, Star Trek people, celebs, weirdos…
It’s hard to replicate the magic of Twitter, which makes it so much more infuriating what Elmo has done.
Three things I think Mastodon needs:
1. Limit who can reply to your posts (e.g., only your followers, only people you follow, anyone)
2. GIPHY integration (there aren’t anywhere near enough memes)
3. More comedy (follows #2, but Mastodon feels like every DevRel conference where everyone is spending their time justifying why they’re here instead of having fun.)
