@siracusa ah, cool. i was surprised it hadn’t been mentioned. i had assumed someone would have long beat me to suggesting that method 😅
@atpfm there’s another way to easily add multiple contacts to a group on iOS that i haven’t heard you all mention yet. go to the group, tap the + button, select all the new contacts you’d like to add, and tap the ✔️
TiL that the iPad is now thin enough to slide into my couch 😬

An iPadOS 26.1 feature in testing that hasn't been enabled in builds yet:

SpringBoard itself has a system menu bar, with quick access to a bunch of things, including shut down and restart, screenshots, homescreen editing and more. Combined with the previous 'Control Center on External Displays' unreleased feature, I hope that they're slowly building towards clamshell mode for iPad…

huh. new (to me) #Apple #privacy checkbox: System Settings: Spotlight: Help Apple Improve Search – […] allow Apple to store your Safari, Siri, Spotlight, Lookup, and # images [(Messages app)] search queries. […]

@dmnelson @autiomaa that wouldn’t protect against the employee setting up user/password, though. i can use user/password, but i never remember the workspace addresses. so it’s more flipping back and forth between Slack and my password manager than the dumb email link. just let me log into an email account with user/pass and select workspace[s] from there 😑
@dmnelson i sure do wish Slack would implement Passkeys. their auth flow sucks.
