I wonder how many of these guys are going to get taxpayer-funded reparation payments while taxpayers can’t afford gas.

Because someone illegally released the tax documents that Trump had previously promised he was going to release but never did, now he and his family and his businesses can never again have their taxes scrutinized by the government.

This is just farcical at this point.

I.R.S. Must Drop Audits of Trump and Family

As part of the Justice Department’s compensation fund deal, officials vowed not to pursue any matters, including those involving President Trump’s tax returns, that are pending.

@conlan “it’s one data breach, Michael. what could it cost? $8?”

‘Da, can you believe that fuckin’ moron?’

Thanks, but I kind of feel like occasionally getting $8 from a class action settlement isn’t really worth every company I do business with treating me and my private data like a cow being milked to death.

Trump shivving his own party’s incumbents can only help Democrats in what’s already shaping up to be a wave election—even despite the redistricting gimmicks. It could very well be Talerico Time for Texas. Watch this space: https://www.cookpolitical.com/ratings/senate-race-ratings

@cabel Oh, sweet simmering Moses.
During my six months riding it, I heard most of my Long Islander colleagues call it the L-I-R. I called it the L-I-R-R, even though that sounded odd to me—I’d usually just say the train. https://www.nytimes.com/2026/05/18/nyregion/lirr-pronunciation-long-island.html?unlocked_article_code=1.jlA.3ND9.FPuxKfQiRqpY&smid=url-share

Initialism or acronym? It doesn’t matter. No one can agree on how to pronounce it.

@jillian That’s the only way I know how to do anything.

MS NOW* has started experimenting with using ALL CAPS for certain words in their YouTube video titles. Unfortunately, my personal code of conduct forbids me from watching any political/news video that does this. Oh, well.
