My English name is actually very simple and I would really love it if people I've worked with for years could spell it properly. It's hard not to feel disrespected when you already feel disrespected when they can't even bother to spell.your name right.
This might be petty but after 3ish years, I saw photos of my ex and he did not age well. He's a year younger than me but his face is lined with wrinkles, hair greying and he's put on punchy weight. None of this would have mattered if he wasn't a complete jerk. But it feels like a Dorian Gray moment, where finally he can't have a picture to take on all his wickedness and he's wearing it now publicly.

This country needs to get way better at its prosecution of sexual violence cases. So many women (and girls) will have already experienced this.

Went back to doctor overy knee issues... looks it's physio or nothing so this time they're seeing if they can get government coverage.
Dreams are nonsense sometimes, but I think it's frustrating when people try to force forgiveness on people. Sometimes people are just terrible people and you don't have to forgive or make space for their feelings. You can just walk away and find new people.
I had a weird dream where the women that stalked me and my ex because she was obsessed eith him (and may have been bisexual), invited him Nd I to a TS concert (I'm not a Swiftie). I kept asking why would she do that as I would never think well of either of them and no reconciliation would be possible with my ex. It ended with me going to a TS concert solo in Toronto (I wouldn't go even if she did do TO), moving past both of them and making some new friends.
Today is Emancipation Day in Canada. We don't often recognize our own history with slavery of Black and Indigenous peoples.
