Started making a 2D game engine recently, I've got a system of rooms and objects set up and working. Now I've got to figure out how to optimally render stuff with SDL2 😅. It's written in C if anyone was wondering! Source code will be published once it is in a functioning state, stay tuned for more :)
I've started to switch out my old social media accounts with ones on FOSS platforms. First Discord and Twitter, which I have now traded for Revolt and Mastodon respectively. I have also installed a website blocker to stop myself from accessing Twitter and Reddit. So far I am enjoying myself on these new platforms, and the communities on them I find are much less toxic than the proprietary alternatives.
