No sugar update--I am in the full swing of sugar withdrawal. Thankfully, eating protein has helped me keep the worst of withdrawal at bay. But I'm 1) very tired 2) mentally listless 3) unfocused. But a few days of pain is worth a life of clarity.

Reduced/no sugar diet update: I'm realizing just how dependent on sugar I actually was. I'm tired in the middle of the day for no reason. Must be because usually by this time, I'd have had a cup of coffee and a cup of tea, both with sugar. Hmmmm....

I'm significantly reducing/eliminating sugar from my diet. I've learned how sugar can exacerbate brain inflammation, which leads to a host of problems, including mental health issues. I want to be able to kick my mental medication out the door, so if sugar's got to go, then bye.
