@academicchatter @academicsunite using #chatgp3 as an assistant helps reduce the time it takes engineer a code solution. It's really does cut hours of your time. However .... Using it as a research assistant, in terms of searching, it's actually pretty limited. I tried searching for papers by topic, I did five separate tests, returning 25 papers and links. Validation of the links returned a 404. But, searching the individual papers themselves, not one of the 25 papers was actually real.

Are national policymakers knowingly ignoring #sustainability pathways that would get us to global #netzero sooner because their own territory will not recieve short-term gains?

What is the net-zero lag time that results from failing to prioritise #climate security?

I recently wrote an article on circular pathways for pathways for Scotch Whisky co-products that highlights the urgent need for this debate.

@CCochard @astronomerritt relatively high level. I make land use change models. But, for small things, i (and everyone else) use stack overflow etc, which is time consuming. Having an assistant write you a specific example and explain it is very useful. I would not be using the code it outputs, but I can learn from it.

@astronomerritt @CCochard I have been trying it out for a few days to help me with code.

I. Not asking it to write for me, but, when I get stuck, I ask it to give me an example. It writes me a working example, and then it also explains the components in it.

From this perspective I end up speeding up the process while also gaining a better conceptual understanding. It's saves me trawling through stack overflow and gives me a specific and example that is tailored to exactly what I ask it for

@serklarvel @ketan nothing ironic about it. He did not found that company, he came in, squeezed the original founders out and took all the credit. This would seem to fit perfectly with who he is.
Posting this stuff usually not my thing, but this is hilarious πŸ˜‚ #ai #bingai #bard

@mbpaz @Sheril the context was emissions, and the CO2 point is also debatable as I assume you are speaking to concentrate feed inputs. If you are using extensive production systems to achieve the volume that is produced now, you have a larger gwp imprint, as well as land footprint with an additional impact on water quality due to manures and fertilizer use.

Finding a consumption balance is necessary, that will require less production, regardless of system used. No silver bullet I am afraid.

@meer_salt .... I have one of those
