Of course Elon swiped the @X account out from under the person who'd had it previously. There was only one way this was ever going to play out.

Does the owner of the account have any recourse? I'm pretty sure that the answer is NOPE.

#twitter only allows unverified accounts to see 600 tweets per day. In THIS economy?! I guess inflation is hitting us all. If only there was some sort of…. Programming interface that would fix the problem he is trying to solve. Possibly a service that is micro in nature. I dunno. Something for #technoJesus to figure out I guess.
