so many people in my life right now; still I'm missing at least one who is close and intimately familiar.
I used to be a people pleaser. It felt like few people really liked me, less people respected me.
I'm now somehow more assertive and care less about other people's opinion on me — and I get so much appreciation and recognition now for how and who I am. For just "simply" being more myself, and caring less.
It still amazes me.
