@Fragarach @VeroniqueB99 terrible what we have done :(
@Fragarach @VeroniqueB99 yikes.. you really have no insects on the windshields? where is this, in Germany? I'm sure numbers are down here also (Alberta, Canada), but we certainly still have plenty to get all over the car...lol
@enriquericos @NatureMC okay, time to go to work and make some garbage- no art! Have a good evening both of you and anyone reading along!
@NatureMC @enriquericos much to the unhappiness of the petro business, plastic bags (except garbage bags, and all that ridiculous packaging at the supermarket) are uncommon here now.
@NatureMC @enriquericos yeah I assumed the gases would be bad. I haven't done it but I would do it outdoors.
@NatureMC @enriquericos haha- that would be interesting to see.. we are in the heart of politically Conservative oil country.. people are still mad that my company switched to paper straws (that arrive in a big plastic bag) the premier of the province has publicly stated her opposition to paper straws... (I know there are issues for some disabled people, for example, but that's not what these people care about)
@NatureMC @enriquericos in this case I was thinking less about the death of the artwork ( I do think about garden and plant uses, and yes, then you need something more stable- I have considered using heat gun to melt waste plastic as a waterproof coating- people make all kinds of things with plastic bags etc and heat gun)- I thought the degradation of the glue was an encouraging thing....lol
@NatureMC @enriquericos yes, perspective...lol as I said in my last reply- the volume of material is tiny compared the horrendous corporate and personal waste.. I often do the afternoon garbage at work and it is horrifying on so many levels, so many kinds of unnecessary waste even *if * you think the whole idea of the packaging is acceptable..
@enriquericos @NatureMC There is an irony in this discussion --I have to get ready to go to work, soon-- a coffee/donuts/sandwiches etc place- all take-out packaging even for the people who sit inside; plus we are always in a huge rush, which means lots of waste. Just that 1 location- over 4000 in Canada- produces more garbage in one day than my little art projects could make or use in a year, even if I were energetic...lol
@enriquericos @NatureMC become garbage may be different than starting out as garbage ? 😆 or garbage is in the eye of the beholder? lol
