A recruiter contacted me on LinkedIn with a half-dozen bullet point "job description", asking that I send my resume if interested.

Taking a suggestion I heard from @DonJones on a recent podcast, I replied asking that they write a couple paragraphs about the position.

They couldn't. All they had was the bullet points about the job. No formal job description, no other information.

Does this level of effort turn into qualified leads for candidates?

To have a viral post on Mastodon is to be confronted with a long series of people asking the exact same question or providing the same “well actually” response, for days, because of the limits of federation. They simply can’t see those other replies. Sometimes they see *no* ofher replies, if they’re on a tiny server.

The experience isn’t great! As with customer service, it can be hard to remember that this isn’t actually the same person over and over again.

You should be aware that the right wing trying to police what they term "trangenderism" is operationally the same as telling women they can't wear pants and telling men they can't have earrings.

If we don't stand up for our trans siblings, we will be next.
