@m I put it on my 13” M1 MacBook Air. No problems at all with it. Just bought a 15” M4 Air, but have so far left it stock. I’ll probably wait until final release for that one.

@adacosta I just upgraded from a 2020 13" M1 MacBook Air, to a current 15" M4 Air. The 13" still works perfectly - just wanted the additional screen due to eyes that are aging.
Definitely agree on Apple silicon! Great stuff. Don't think I could ever go back to Intel or AMD for anything.

Local journalists are reporting that the Israeli military just bombed the very church in Gaza that Pope Francis used to call every night. Israel killed 2 Christians and injuring 6 more.

Was Hamas in the church now?

If you still actually believe this is "Muslim vs Jew" and not War Criminal vs Civilians, then idk what to tell you but you're helping whitewash genocide.

@leighms It's probably during the part of installation that asks if you want to use Ubuntu Pro. It will ask for your email address to set that account up, or to log in if you already have an Ubuntu Pro account.

@sgsax Gramps is a decent open source genealogy app. It can import and export GEDCOM files, and has a lot of nice features. It's been many years since I've used it, but it looks like it's still maintained.

@therealahall I like both #Gnome and #KDE. Gnome for it's simplicity, and KDE for its seemingly infinite customization options.
Which is probably why I tend to always go back to #Cinnamon after trying out new versions of Gnome and KDE. It seems to be the best fit for how I work on my computer.

@imthaz True. Plus I wasn’t really considering that most of the people that buy the non-pro version aren’t the type of people that care if they have them earlier.

@dm319 @LateNightLinux I lived in Sacramento in the late 80s-early 90s, and agree that it is an incredible state. Now live in Illinois, which thankfully has a great liberal governor that isn't putting up with any of that MAGA crap.
