@nedelne_rano does it help with the renewal process?
📣 PSA 📣

Seems we misjudged our time estimate 😁

**ALL** of our service are all migrated and appear to be working.

We have some website updates and doc updates that will be forthcoming to reflect a number of changes we've made as part of the migration (including traefik v2 configs!!!).

We are *also* deprecating / removing support for the following

- borg backups (we'll be using restic going forward instead)
- TT-RSS (the dev turned out to be a jerk, we'll be using FreshRSS going forward instead)
- GPG signatures on our source code and website, keeping up with these has proven troublesome on the best of days
- Fathom (we'll be bringing it back but we're too far behind to do anything meaninful with it yet)
@mancavgeek @kemonine

Spacebear has pixelfed hosting...

But yes, it's frustrating ; they really messed up a number of our users and a ton of others by dropping the arm stuff completely
@alciregi We moved to our Works on Arm box that we have as part of a sponsorship for all our public services. We have a friendly arm m4 and some other gear for testing and backups that we're using for non-public services

Or lead dev KemoNine just finished migrating to EC2 despite the cost.
@mancavgeek Yep!

@kemonine is paying nearly 2x what they were with Scaleway arm instances
📣 PSA 📣

Scaleway recently sent a notice about the shuttering of their arm vps services which we use[d] heavily.

As of a few minutes ago we have finalized the main portion of our migration *off* Scaleway arm vpses onto another provider that's helped us in the past.

H/T to the Works on Arm folks ; their hardware saved us a lot of pain the last week or so as we made our migrations.

Right now things should be mostly back to normal but we are working out some kinks that have popped up.

We have some further infrastructure updates to fine tune but overall we're off Scaleway as of this writing.

We also have a TON of documentation updates and a few small website updates that will be published soon.

More details to follow.

📣 PSA 📣

Our Xeon server box failed today and we've managed to migrate all BUT the bitwarden_rs docker container builds to other places.

We will be recommending our users get bitwarden_rs directly from docker hub (per their docs) and use the appropriate arm tags going forward.

We don't currently have the available time/overhead to roll out a new machine to replace this one.

Instead we are going to shift towards using docker hub for bitwarden_rs, leaving a few behind the scenes services offline and continuing forward on ensuring our docs and other infra is kept current, up to date and as best we can put forth for our users.

We will be removing bitwarden_rs from our docker registry shortly to reflect this change.
We are still alive, we promise.

Our lead dev @kemonine has been quietly working through back end infrastructure 'stuff' and ensuring our services remain online and our docker images continue to be built.

We could use some help with the documentation and traefik configs if anyone is interested. Thanks to limited time KemoNine has been having a hard time spending any real amount of time on documentation.
