The difference is lack of convictions 4 the GOP. At this point they r 100% transactional. The proof being that only when they finally realized Trump was a loser at the ballot box did they even begin 2 dismiss his racism etc. Power ovr their own party, power ovr the rule of law, power ovr democracy, power ovr anything that could diminish their power. Unfortunately, I dont see the GOP ever coming back 2 normal. The most extreme version of confirmation bias n modern history
