If you have beef with a BUSINESS, don't let that effect your survey rating because companies see that as a reflection of the individual helping you, not the company as a whole. Give your cashier or waiter five stars and then in the comment section tell the business what you don't like about them.
If a retail or food service worker asks you to take a survey or leave a review and they did a good job, give them a five star review. Even if they didn't go above or beyond for you. Most places reprimand anything below a perfect score and no one deserves to get yelled at just because someone who gets a power trip on leaving "okay" reviews couldn't be a kind person.
And like. I get that people don't always have the energy to be nice to people, but like. If you don't have the energy to be nice. Don't interact with people. If you don't HAVE to go out and do something. Don't. Play an offline single player game if you don't want to deal with team mates. There's no reason for people to blame others for their own personal issues, especially if the interaction could have been avoided in the first place.
Don't get me wrong. I know that there's a lot of messed up stuff with society, and we owe the people who oppress us absolutely no shred of decency. But your waiter or your Uber driver or the people in your online game party who haven't done anything wrong don't deserve to be talked to the way people talk to each other. Just like. Be nicer.
Like, if people took, like. A couple interactions a day and focused on making them pleasant and friendly instead I think we'd all be a lot happier as a society.
Why can't people just, idk, try to be nice to each other.
