The flying fishOften wondered what was going on in this image of Gloria Swanson with Carole Lombard and George Raft on the set of BOLERO (1934). According to PICTUREGOER WEEKLY magazine, they're collecting autographs on a quilt for an extra. Was this a regular thing and wonder what ever happened to it.

Made a Ten Spot cocktail tonight - 3 parts gin to 1 part Aperol, lime juice, and grapefruit juice. I don’t usually favor gin cocktails but they’re nice to mix things up. This one is very fruit forward with a hint of bitterness. And I love the color!
Watched these two silents in the last couple of days, really loved them both. They were actually kind of similar (adventure movie with a charming rogue-type in a foreign land). After silent comedies, I think I connect the most with silent adventure films. A bit more exciting, a bit more kinetic.
