Living life on the wild side: installing iPadOS 26 Developer Beta 2 on my M2 iPad Pro.
So weird: the last two weeks using Firefox, my Fastmail tab loses connection with the Fastmail server about every 12 hours, and the only way to restore it is to restart Firefox. All other tabs work fine. Just baffling.

Just back from a run. On the upside: only 70F out there. On the downside: 93% humidity. Not a day for any PRs. Still, got 4.5 miles in. Good way to start the day.

5 years later we’re in a much better place as a family, personally, emotionally, spiritually. We’re still rebuilding community. There are things we’ll never be able to replace.
Still, we wouldn’t go back.
As nicely as I can say it: good riddance.
5 years ago today I emailed my evangelical church’s pastors to let them know we were leaving. There were many reasons theological, political, and ethical.
In the 5 years since I’ve had only 2 contacts from that church’s folks: a coffee w/ the pastor a year later, and a text from a worship leader.
