@kaasbaas @stux sure totally, though I’ve hopped between a multitude of instances as well as my own self hosted instance for over a year and my conclusion is that the community is objectively inferior to that of Twitter in pretty much every way. I don’t intend that to mean, it’s just largely a culturally homogeneous echo chamber much worse than that of Twitter.
@stux I mean, mastodon isn't great. It kinda needs a better community for any kind of great case to be made for it. It's mostly just people complaining about twitter, case in point here.

@Benhm3 @JessTheUnstill I think you missed the point-- being that the suspended accounts are evidence of the rules being equally applied, which eviscerates the point OP was trying to make.
