Would love insight into what UPS was doing for the two days between these updates:

4/7: Uncontrollable events have delayed delivery. We are adjusting delivery plans as quickly as possible. Please check back on the next business day for updates.

4/9: All merchandise was not recoverable and was discarded. UPS will notify the sender with details of the damage.

I have to assume the uncontrollable event resulted in the unrecoverable state of the merchandise. No?

In this day and age, has anyone ever switched ISPs based on a visit from a door-to-door salesperson?

If I'm home at this hour, it means I work from home and rely heavily on the stability of my current ISP. Why would I jeopardize that to save $5 a month for an untested service?
