Not sure what ol’CGJ would have to say about it but the cards are pretty on the nose today

The reading of this; by the way, is usually something like:

“You are considering embarking on the road less taken. Free yourself and diverge from the norms which society expects of you, and pursue a new approach in life.”

Sometimes I think I should try to be less weird and try to fit in or whatever and then I pull this card.

If you grew up in the pre-internet era, you might remember the torturous pain of being absolutely obsessed with something (a book, a movie, a writer, a show, a subject of any kind) and not knowing anyone at all in your everyday life who cared about it.

Morning! There seem to be a lot of literary folks on so and seeing as it’s Scottish Book Week; what are your favourite Scottish Fiction books?

- Ali Smith, How To Be Both
- Alexander Trocchi, Cain’s Book
- Alasdair Gray, Lanark
- James Kelman, Not Not While The Giro

Glasgow people, I’m craving a vada pav - any recommendations of where to get a good one? Sheerin Palace? Anaya’s?
Press releases always talk about ‘eclectic influences’ but I just reviewed an EP where I genuinely had to check that all the songs were the same artist. Got to admire that ambition.
