OK. If the title of "Jaws" is also the name of the shark in the movie, then how come not one single person in the whole movie yells "Look out, Jaws is coming!" See how stupid you sound?

One argument I enjoy having is that "Jaws" is the name of the movie but it is not the name of the shark because that would be dumb. I don't feel super strongly about it but it sometimes makes people really mad. Like "You can't say that about Jaws the shark!" lol, OK

There should be a rule that once your copy is sent to the copyeditor, you have to stay out of the Google Doc. You no longer have agency. Your thoughts belong to someone with a better grasp of punctuation now. Diminish and fade into the West
