The heatwave we've had for the last few days is about to end with a bang
The garden has gone crazy the last few days. I've got a load of plants on the patio to go in the ground, and the space that was there a few days ago has mostly disappeared now

Just thinking back to how much work my friends at Moz put into the transition to webextensions, and how much anger and pushback they got from basically the whole world in the process.

Let me tell you: you have no idea how bad things were in the pre-webextensions world. No idea at all.

Not used my office for 3 weeks, and it's amazing how much dust settles and how quickly in rooms that aren't being used. Had to spend 3 hours this evening giving it a good clean

Don't know why this needs to be an anonymous opinion tbh, it's hardly niche or controversial https://www.cwu.org/ltb/ltb-423-22-cwu-low-level-letter-box-campaign/

Finished with this now. Would like to get started on the second one, but I have a couple more post supports to concrete in first which means getting the post hole digging bar out, and I don't think I can risk opening my elbow up again by smashing that into the ground. I think I'm going to have to have a few days of forced rest 😭
Within the next couple of weeks I'm going to run out of major garden projects to do, so now would be a good time for Bourne Town Council to find an allotment plot for me to take over. And I know there are some available because I talk to other people who have plots, and there are plenty that are not very well maintained. So there can't be that many people waiting for them 🤷‍♂️. (Hopefully!)
Almost finished. A few more knee braces to make and install tomorrow, then it needs oiling (hoping Jo will do that!). I've got one more to build after that
Back in the garden again today - elbow glued, tetanus booster shot received, and a bit sore and bruised after falling. Weather permitting, I'm hoping this will be finished tomorrow. Then I have one more to build. Really could have done with a second pair of hands tbh, it's hard work getting the heavy timber up on my own
It's a bit of a running joke amongst my family that I always end up with some sort of injury when doing DIY, and i was joking with my neighbour earlier about what the nature of the injury would be. Well, it was falling off a raised platform. Fell into the gabion wall and my elbow hit the ends of one of the steel helicals, leading to a fairly substantial gash around the outside of my arm which Jo thinks needs stitching or gluing back together
