@fbarton @DefectiveWings You can try my https://NagiosTV.com for a better (read only) mobile interface. I’d echo what you wrote here on pros and cons. My fav thing about Nagios is also the flat files config, and that it does not require a database or other complicated dependencies. Also the checks are simply scripts that can be in any language so there is a lot of flexibility in creating your own custom checks.

@adamconover If power efficiency is a priority then I would say it's one of the best options. I'm using an M1 Mac mini for a similar setup and it's wonderful. Under 10 Watts power draw, quiet, and runs cold. Do it!!
