Dan GillmorChatGPT appears to have a refined sense of the absurd. I asked it to write a ridiculous (but standard) Republican-Democrat, both-sides New York Times political story, and it did exactly that.

Well, Mastodon, the bird app just permanently suspended me for no apparent reason, so I guess I'll be spending a bit more time here from now on.

@DavMicRot no, "cancel culture" is a term reserved solely for when asshole right-wingers get banned for running afoul of clearly defined terms of service. When "progressives" get banned for making right-wing assholes mad it's apparently called comedy.
