Huge fan of April. And Apink, Weekly, Sunmi, Rockit Girl, GFriend, ITZY, IZ*ONE, Twice and many other wonderful South Korean pop music groups. I mostly post about k-pop and things that are cute. I'm also a huge fan of free software.
@sergiotarxz @fakefred @jimpjorps Wouldn't work. I never bother to check anyone's profile replying to some random stranger. Most don't have very informative profiles anyway and those who bother to write one with silly rules are typically 흰색 왼쪽 people and they rarely post anything worth replying to.
A simpler solution is to teach those few people who want #NoAdvice how to use the Mute and Block buttons. It's not that hard. Site wide rules are never actually needed.

@parasurv The "accountability" is a different one. If I threaten to go to your home and kill you then that's something worth holding me accountable for. Real names would help with that. However, the kind of ""accountability" that is common today is: "OMG I wrote some joke someone didn't get 5 years ago, let's go call the employer and harass the employer and everyone else until I get fired". That's not a good trend. And it makes people afraid to honestly share their opinions. That's bad.
@parasurv The beauty of sites like 4chan is that everyone (except a rare occasional tripfag) is anonymous. You have to actually read the posts and judge them based on their contents.
I read a lot of different sites/sources and I share links many differs places. I see "that's from site X and I think Y so I won't read the article" a lot. That's unhealthy. I same problem exists in social media, including the fediverse. Everyone using pseudonym is actually something I prefer over real names.
Didn't expect to find out that the Twitter Support was compromised today..
