In 2021, we sampled for 1-year in Vale de Prazeres (Fundão) under the Cultivar project and we found 131 new bee species for the region, 1 new bee species for science (Andrena lusitania) and 1 new species for 🇵🇹 (Macropis fulvipes)!

And finally, the opportunity to offer a gift to the most recent FLOWer Lab Doctor, Ana Afonso, with an illustration painted by Sílvia Castro of Ehret's "Methodus Plantarum Sexualis" in Systema Naturae, which shows the characters used to determine the 24 classes of plants of Linnaeus's, which remain the foundations of modern taxonomy today.
