To have characters that have learnt the value of empathy, and have struggled to find that balance, all the sudden turn around and act against it? Doesn't flow well at all.
Not only that, but it really does look bad with how the show has treated much of the female characters... :/ The books are so much better with that... For example, the Sand Snakes weren't vengeful and vapid. They didn't kill the Lannister daughter on purpose, they valued the life of innocents.
The fight between him and Clegane seemed so senseless? Like, I imagine Clegane must have known that The Mountain is only a husk of his former self, why would Clegane feel the need to fight a husk of his brother?
The second big one - Daenarys. -_- Thanks I hate it.
I was actually all psyched for how the "war" was starting off, but then she... Yeahhhh. It just makes N O sense. Even at the start of the season she lamented over what her brother did. Dumb. Dumbdumbdumb.
So, I'm glad I got to rant with my friend and husband about this, as we all see eye-to-eye on how badly written the last episode of GoT was. I know a lot of people don't like GoT in general, and that's fine! I have disagreed with many directions that the show has gone, and found myself loving the book series so much more.
First off... Holy h*ck. HBO is a show that has gore and violence, and yet zombie Mountain looked so DULL. He looked like Zordon from the Power Rangers fjdsk
