I was watching the tv series on Apple TV and got hooked. The pace was a little slow though and some parts of the plot seemed over worked and drawn out. Nevertheless, the premise for the show was so intriguing to me that when the first season ended on a cliff hanger, I opted to jump into the books instead. I’m half way through the second book and I can say that I find the books much more gratifying that the tv show. It moves at a much healthier clip. I find it hard to put down. I just wanted to recommend it to anyone else who likes sci-fi.
