The city of Coral Gables launched an initiative to remove invasive plants at the Pinewoods Cemetery, one of the oldest cemeteries in South Florida, and plant native species. #berecycled
The Battery Recycling Program started in 2021 and have drop-off locations throughout the city. So far, they’ve recycled over 2,000 pounds of batteries #berecycled
Reverse Vending Machine was a program the city offered that ends this year where one puts plastic containers inside and they recycle it for you. You received points for each time you recycled and you could redeem it for special stores participating with the program #berecycled
Bi-Annual Recycling Drive-Thru Event encourages residents to recycle hazardous waste and electronics. Event is held every April/May and November. #berecycled
