@Calamur UBI may be a solution to one problem (lack of income) but the self-worth and purpose people get with having a job cannot be replaced and likely to lead to more social problems.

@Saikatd You are being too hard on yourself. Fine to recommend others you like & choose to follow; but in order to expand the horizons, try making your choices more eclectic. That would also expand the diversity on this platform which comes across as narrower & more straight-jacketed than #Birdsite. Just my two cents.

@monteskw Unfortunately, as the size of SC increases, odds of stacking CBs primarily with future CJIs who depend on official goodwill for promotion becomes more likely.

@Shilpitewari Also, not clear if identical rules apply to individuals estranged from one parent (i.e. whether MEA applies the same rules to single parent families also).

@Shilpitewari Quite possible but not confirmed that his dad/granddad/greatgranddad was a Pak citizen (possibly in addition to UK citizenship) & he concealed that info. But no confirmation at this point about that.
