#Andor is some of the best television I’ve ever seen. Up there with the rebooted #BSG

I like Mastodon. It does have a much calmer feel than the cesspit Twitter has become, especially now that Elno is in charge. I have been able to find many of the people I follow on Twitter over here and follow them, and that warms my heart. And the algorithm (is there an algorithm?) doesn’t force feed me the toxic opinions of the far right,as it does on Twitter. There are a few teething issues, one of which is that not everyone's posts are visible, mostly if they are on other servers. And there look to be no way to verify accounts. I trust that these and other issues will work themselves out as each server scales as people move over. In the mean time, I am grateful for the calmness here, and the community that is forming / reforming.
