Oh, also it's PIJOU'S BIRTHDAY!! He's 6 years old today and I love him so much.

I wake up at 3:30 on market days so I don't have to rush. I'm exhausted, but it gives me time for a few minutes of chillin with my best boy.

Baking day again! This is why I've made a rule to only do one test recipe per week. You can't be too attached to results in baking (or life), but I need enough sellable items for the market... I may be able to sample some of it, or I may have to eat the loss.... 😉

Did my first farmer's market today! It went pretty well. I forgot my table, had a lot of nice conversations, gave a lot of free samples, locked my money and car keys in my car, and only had to bring a couple slices of pound cake home. I made almost $150, my first entrepreneurial income!
I only got 4 hours of sleep last night because my brownies stuck to the pan so I chose to make some last-minute cookies. Learned a lot for next time!

I'm spending the afternoon couchbound with Pijou as he helps me practice being at peace with stillness.

I decided not to attend the farmer's market tomorrow so I can rest and heal. I will definitely make use of the extra time before my debut. Today I picked up my a new rubber stamp of my logo as well as a stencil I had made of it, and they look great!
