Just watching the NBeC nightly news rn, central time, and there have been not one but two perfect “blackouts” of what I’m receiving over the air (I’m cheap and I want to feel like a normie sometimes), right when B3rnie was speaking and then when thump was a few segments later. Around 6:14 CST. TL;DR: The powers that be could be hijacking the airwaves and stealth-censoring. I mean, weirder things are happening. Technical notes about the mini-blackouts: It wasn’t the normal pixelated, trying really hard but failing to form a complete picture kind of drop out, which I’m used to from weather or generally spotty reception. The picture is otherwise perfect when it’s not blacked out. All it does is freeze on the last fully assembled frame, then eventually unfreezes 30-45 sec or so later, resuming whatever’s now on the waves. If you change the channel and then back, it just stays in a non-loaded channel screen (not black picture) as if there’s no signal at all. Then the live broadcast resumes some seconds later. Mind you, this is all occurring on my dumb TV because, again, cheap normie ho here, and also I ache to rewind to a time of relative simplicity, where fabulously stupid TVs still exist and so does Circuit City. Anyway, it’s happening during seemingly insignificant points as well, kind of imploring you to think, “welp, this must be just random I guess.” Gut-feeling assessment: Idk. Maybe only god knows the subterfuge these dicks are capable of, beneath the bumbling efforts of the most visibly unlawful state actors (ice ice babies). We have the overt, and we have the hidden. What kind of subtle manipulation is happening in plain sight by various fed depts right now that’s not loud enough to be talked about, let alone heard? To me, this is very much in the territory of “military turning its psy-op defenses onto its citizens” to censor the voices of key representatives but with plausible deniability. What do they have to gain? Probably that a certain substantial population of deeply, shockingly moderate viewers would not hear how reasonable S@nders sounded and how increasingly demented drump is. It just seems entirely plausible for them to “self” censor by “breaking” into key broadcasts with nothing but dead air for a bit. I mean, most of us internet people now understand how and where algorithms work and as a result can better spot the obvious (and some subtle) ways that websites/services/orgs manipulate you or regardless of whether or not you embrace The Almighty Algorithm.™ We can’t forget about the old-fashioned hacks, right? Okay, gonna stop here. Anyone else have thoughts? Or have witnessed things like this?
