BotW and its sequel are so unlike any other Zelda game, I doubt having played or grown up with other Zelda games would be helpful.
Dreaming of, or warning about?

Reworded DND rules sounds really rough

What’s even worse about this is that the original Kickstarter pitch said I’d be a classless, points based system. So to then go and just reword D&D is… yea. I’m not convinced anyone in the team actually knows what they’re doing.

So, not a switch, then. Haha. Nintendo doesn’t like not having a gimmick!
Yea, I was looking at used 3DS since my hinge finally broke… sad times.
Where are original switches getting more affordable? Last I saw, Nintendo raised their prices.
Just as an FYI from my experience, I’ve not had the 4, only the 3+. The handheld works great for about a year, but the parts they use are pretty cheap and will break often. Once they stop supporting replacement parts, it’s hard to find some of the ones that they used.
I’d have to look up a walkthrough to get the specific information, but I recall you have to give earrings to the queen in wildwoods.

The whole reason behind it was to socialise with others in person and trade.

Now, though, the whole “multiple versions” is kinda pointless and just gates things, as you said.

I loved my retroid 3+ while it lasted. Unfortunately, it lasted only for a year before parts started breaking. They also stopped selling replacement parts by that point, and no one could find the ones needed to fix my device. Not sure why retroid keeps getting more expensive with each release if they’re still using the same quality of parts, but I’m never buying from them again.

I was looking at this device, but if it’s overall the same company, I’m definitely out. My 3DS just recently succumbed to the hinge issue, so I don’t doubt something with cheaper parts will succumb to the same issue much quicker.
