Into stuff like music (in which I have excellent taste), photography (with the main subject being nature) and writing code (for the Mac and fancy little iOS devices)
To kill a French vampire, you need to drive a baguette through its heart. Sounds easy, but the process is pain-staking ...
I just saw someone refer to the Cybertruck as a Deplorean and I haven't stopped snickering.
@paul Using Ivory on Mac to access Bluesky via the skybridge thing means getting a lot of rate limit exceeded warnings. I know this is a special case but could something be done to throttle access in this situation? It's a quite noisy experience both in regard to sound and vision

The carbon footprint of NFTs on Ethereum wasn’t looking great before The Merge, but it was nothing compared to on-chain Bitcoin NFTs

Yesterday Bitcoin mining company Luxor mined the largest block ever, containing almost exactly 4MB of data. Only 63 transactions could fit into the block, as the NFT used up the rest of the available space

The carbon footprint: ~888 metric tons of CO2, equivalent to the per passenger carbon footprint of taking a flight from New York to Tokyo and back - 466 times
