Too many people can't tell the difference between “evidence” and “some guy *says* there's evidence”.
@mzbat nice self-portrait.

President Biden cites facts that white supremacy terror is America’s greatest domestic security threat—and MAGAs lose their minds.

Here’s the thing.

I’m Muslim. I don’t feel attacked when people condemn the Taliban because Taliban do not represent Muslims and I proudly take the lead in condemning Taliban terrorism.

If you’re MAGA white and feel personally attacked when Biden condemns white supremacy terror—you are absolutely telling on yourself.

Gotta hand it to the man, the guy delivers

GOP TX Rep Bryan Slaton resigned after inducing sex by alcohol with an underage teen.

GOP US Rep George Santos arrested on 13 counts of fraud.

GOP POTUS front runner Donald Trump arrested on 34 counts of fraud & jury verdict is he committed sexual abuse.

This is GOP—just this week.😑

Can we just start calling them GOP-Sponsored shootings?
@noahshachtman Forced cable subscriptions will pay for their loss. It isn't that big for a company that size. Hopefully, the next 6 defamation trials will make Fox think twice - but I doubt it.

Yes. For me this is why the settlement was such a letdown. The discovery phase included many wins for the reality-based, but the settlement gave up on that. https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2023/04/18/dominion-fox-settlement-apology/

Fox could thus say in its only statement that handing over $787.5 million "reflects Fox's continued commitment to the highest journalistic standards."
