Double amusingly, the adult tried to explain him in terms of being "elected by bishops”, which I'd consider equally inscrutable parts of a religious hierarchy from the outside, BUT every one of these kids definitely has been exposed to chess as all proto-nerds, so I can imagine their mental images.

@hotdogsladies A few years ago (when I still lived in Indiana) I had shown up early for a date and ended up walking around a Stein Mart for a half hour and was consequently late.

Once in a while someone here refers to "The Bad Place" and I get so ready for some kinda Schuriverse deep cut and it's always some dumb to-do about the ersatz Twitter-as-she-is-now.
