This chickadee was tapping at the window, like it wanted to come in. It IS pretty hot out there.
Piping plovers are cute, but piping plover babies are next level cute. I took this vid in Maine a week ago. It's hard to see what's going on because the birds and their babies are sand-colored: The mom is going around, checking on her babies (who are big enough to wander off) and one of them runs back, going under her.

My heart goes out to the people who just left Twitter and are feeling sad about it. I went through that in November and it took a while to stop missing Twitter. Wishing you the best as you adjust!
