Whenever I see the boosted toot notification, I can't help thinking of a guy farting into a megaphone, sharing his improv trumpet performance with the world.

It's kinda cool to be present at the dawn of a new social network.

So, a tweet in Mastodon is called a 'toot'. Does anyone else think that sounds wrong?
