My neck hurts, my upper back hurts, my shoulders hurt, my teeth hurt, my legs hurt and I still have like 50 years of life left to go...put me in a home already
Is this thing on?
@jessew You've managed to stick to one fedi account for one year now. Are you proud of your accomplishment?
@modrinth Flatpak release for the Modrinth app when?
Damn, already have been here for almost a year. Happy early birthday to me
Just learned after waking up I have the day off work the serotonin is flowing freely right now.
*sigh*

watching @notjustbikes 's videos just makes me bitter these days.

not his fault, of course, since his videos are excellent.

but I literally do not believe that Canada will ever be anything other than an unaffordable dead mall of a country. I'm probably 2-3 years from being forced out of the city I grew up in, and since I'll never get a university degree, I'll never be allowed to live anywhere in a place with actual urbanism, like Europe. any raise I get in my day job career will just get eaten by cost of living increases.

after 15 years of resisting and trying to be transit-only, I'm getting my full driver's license so that when getting evicted to the middle of nowhere finally happens, at least I won't be completely unable to go anywhere. a cold comfort, really.

I feel like promoting a random free software project, that I use *every day*. That project is none other than Invidious, the web-based frontend that permits anonymous consumption of video content from youtube.com:

https://redirect.invidious.io/

Their code repository is here: https://github.com/iv-org/invidious

Invidious was recently the target of frivolous legal action by YouTube.com itself, and their Wikipedia article came under attack recently.

I encourage everyone to support Invidious.

Also yt-dlp project.
